Welcome to Casa De Las Anas! This our home in the mountains of the Dominican Republic, a getaway very different from the beach or typical tourist resorts. We have only two rooms, we are a long ways from the usual tourist haunts, and we are in a very modest neighborhood. Come here for relaxation and a real taste of small town Dominican Culture. We are an American family who own a house in the back country of the Dominican Republic. During most of the year our good Dominican friend, AnaJulia lives with her daughter, AnaMaria, in the house. Our Daughter, Anita, is the third of the Anas of Casa De Las Anas. Julia cares for the house and allows travelers to stay in the two rooms. Julia is very open and though she speaks very little English she is patient and understanding.
It is our aim to make you as comfortable as possible while you enjoy a true experience of Dominican culture. Julia cooks incredible traditional foods and there are several activities you can take part in to experience the area. If you just want to relax, the rocking chairs and hammock in the patio are perfect. There are also discotecas and restaurants in the area if you are looking for a taste of Dominican Night life.
