Historic 1883 family home, B&B, located in Parke County the covered Bridge Captial.
This Classic Plantation-style home,columned front porch, dates from the late 1880's. The house is well know for having the nationally-known columist Juliet V. Strauss as one of the owners. Some of their overnight guests included Woodrow Wilson, Annie Oakley & John Lewis.
We have 4 rooms in the Inn and one fully furnished apartment as well as two furnished Cottages. We have something for everyone at an affordable price with a friendly homelike atmosphere. We serve breakfast daily to all our Inn guests. Everyone can enjoy the light refreshments served in the afternoon in our parlor/library, while enjoying the roaring fire, seasonal, or the summer breeze on our front porch or patio.
