Lathrop Manor Bed & Breakfast, Norwich, Connecticut
Norwich, CT bed and breakfast in the heart of Norwichtown's Historic District
Lathrop Manor is one of the finest, well preserved examples of a center hall Colonial in Southeast Connecticut. Samuel Lathrop built the house in the 17th Century but it was met with a fire. The house was rebuilt in 1744 and enjoyed by Dr Daniel Lathrop, a successful Pharmacist who is credited with employing the young Benedict Arnold. The Manor is nestled in the heart of Norwichtown's historic district and has a rich history and beautiful craftsmanship from the hand carved wooden beams to the wide board flooring and nine wood-burning fireplaces.
Each guest room has a private bath and fireplace, king-sized bed, luxurious linens, plasma tv with DVD and sitting area. WiFi is available throughout the property.
