Washington Bed and BreakfastUnited States Bed and Breakfast
Staying in a bed and breakfast in Seattle, Washington is really the way to go when looking for travel accommodations. The city, though large, has a romantic village like feel that a stay at a large chain hotel or motel might take away from the experience. One of the most fascinating things about Seattle is the large and famous cathedrals and churches that are spread among the city. A local favorite is the Seattle First Baptist Church that is beautiful and charming to take a walk through. Also the Seattle Buddhist Church is very serene and relaxing in a complete different way. It has an early 1900 era Japanese feel and the people who take care of the property are very nice and accommodating. On my last visit to the Emerald City my wife and I loved staying at a local bed and breakfast just outside the city and we loved walking around looking at the various landmarks and attractions that many people miss when they stay within downtown.
There are many hidden gems in Seattle including the various famous fire houses, old school buildings, libraries, and parks. The city has an amazing offering of local restaurants that are both charming and romantic with almost any cuisine, international or American. Staying at a neighborhood bed and breakfast inn really gives such a charming and special feel to a vacation that could be otherwise generic with a downtown hotel and pictures of the Space Needle. If you are looking for a luxurious way to experience Seattle, Washington take the route of finding a bed and breakfast in the part of town you desire and enjoy seeing and doing things you probably would never have thought of.
