The Terwilliger Vista B&B is an elegant Georgian Colonial located adjacent to the Terwilliger corridor in the west hills of Portland. It was built for a prominent family in 1941; it shows an Art Deco influence.
This home features beautiful Blonde Honduran Mahogany woodwork in much of its 6000 sq.ft. Expansive bay windows flood the rooms with light while the Winter views feature city lights, Mt. Hood and the Willamette River.
The bedroom accomodations are fresh, bright, spacious and quiet; featuring luxury king or queen beds, private baths, cable TVs, clocks, bed reading lamps, club chairs, and air conditioning.
On its half acre, gardens feature roses, camellias, rhodenderon, and flowering trees, shrubs, and bushes. It is a scenic 6 minutes from downtown via Terwilliger Blvd. which has vista points, and walking and recreational paths that pass the Regional Medical Center and VA Hospital. Enjoy healthy gourmet breakfasts served in a spacious and elegant dining room. Afternoon tea-time includes wine, cheese, and hors d'oeuvers. Also port and sherry are available for sipping in front of the fireplace. Down in the library are books, games, cards, and complimentary sodas in the refrigerator.
