Historic Homestead Farm setting 10,000 square foot B&B Inn sets high on a bluff overlooking Knik Arm where Captain Bligh of the Mutiny on the Bounty fame once traded with the Eklutna Indians. Chugach & Tallkeetna Mountains encompass the horizon with Chugaeh ice fields in the distant view at 9000 ft. This property was sold to the Federal Government for inclusion in President Roosevelt's Colony experiment in the 1930s for 3.09 an acre by Johan Johnson.
A recent addition includes a view room added onto the roof of the inn which will allow a 360 degree view furnished with 8 swivel rockers.
