Guadalupe River Ranch, Boerne, Texas
The main lodge was built in 1929 (formerly owned by actress Olivia de Havilland) and has been restored to its original elegance. Accommodations vary from charming stone cottages, many with screened in porches, nestled among the oak trees, to bluffside rooms with private balconies and majestic views of the river and distant hills. The ranch has 360 acres and can accommodate 1 to 100 and is an ideal place for a romantic rendezvous or corporate retreats and family reunions. The Ranch provides one of the most spectacular views in the Texas Hill Country and is known for its superb gourmet cuisine, fine wine cellar, Vintner Events and scrumptious Hill Country breakfast.
The Guadalupe River Ranch provides first class recreational and fitness facilities, including excercise/game room with pool table and ping pong, outdoor games to include, horseback riding, volleyball, croquet, horseshoes, petting zoo for the kids (with supervision) and corral rides for the little ones. For those of you seeking rest and relaxation, just find a hammock or one of the many rocking chairs and enjoy the dramatic views of the Texas Hill Country.
