Line Limousin Farmhouse B & B, Carlisle, Pennsylvania
The Line Limousin Farmhouse B&B is a Victorian brick and stone house built in the 1860's by Bobs' great grandfather using walnut lumber from the farm of all woodwork. The original 540 acres were bought by his grandfather in 1778. Only 110 acres remain in the homestead.
Rooms are decorated with family heirlooms, some older than the house.
Bob and Joan raise Limousin cattle from Limoges, france. In keeping with the theme, breakfast is served on Haviland Limoges china. They definitely aim to please by special touches such as fresh flowers in your bedroom, a hearty 3 course breakfast served in a picture perfect, antique filled dining room with a warm fire when weather permits. Line Limousin has a relaxed atmosphere in which you'll feel more like a friend of the family than a guest.
The bedrooms have King, Queen or Twin beds that are firm but comfortable. Remote cable TV and AC in rooms make it feel like home. A refrigerator just for guests is kept stocked with juice and soft drinks.
So if you are tired of artificial mass produced country decor then come and experience the real thing.
