We welcome you to come and enjoy our "rustic" log home, situated in the rolling hills of Crystal Valley and conveniently located near Middlebury Indiana. Our "Real Log" home, built in 1990, is furnished with your comfort in mind. Throughout our home you will find a combination of Rust family antiques and informal contemporary furnishings, arranged to create a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, conducive to conversation and the making of new friends.

In the Spring and Summer, you will enjoy our front porch, rear deck, and screened-in outdoor room overlooking the oaks, wild flowers and gardens growing on the property. You may take walks on our secluded country roads, ride your bike to nearby Bonneyville Mill Park and visit a working grist mill with its mill race, hike wooded trails, or picnic along the river.

In October, come and enjoy the Fall colors which paint the rolling hills of Crystal Valley. Should you choose a Winter retreat, you will enjoy sitting by our fireplace and watching a wide variety of birds feeding on our many feeders. If your tastes include Winter outdoor activities, you will enjoy hiking or cross country skiing our snow covered roads, or through the Winter beauty of Bonneyville Mill Park.

In the evening, and over Janine & Tim's delicious breakfasts, you will enjoy meeting and visiting with new found friends. Share your hobbies and interests and learn from Tim about computers, beekeeping & ham radio. During your day trips to the attractions in nearby Goshen, Shipshewana & Nappanee, you will want to also enjoy the outstanding meals served at the famous Essenhaus and Patchwork Quilt Restaurants. Be assured that we at Rust Hollar will do everything possible to insure you have a relaxing and enjoyable visit!
