Landmark Inn, Vernal, Utah
The Landmark Inn is the product of the imagination of two brothers originally from North Carolina; Harold and Stephen Henderson. When they found the building it was called the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. They kept part of the name to preserve its history. In fact the original Landmark Sign was framed and now hangs in the building.
The brothers purchased the building in June of 1996 and began renovation in November. While the exterior of the building is still quite the same, the brand new interior takes on the look of a casual yet elegant country inn. Each room is individually decorated in a distinct way, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere, just like home away from home.
There are three Anniversary or Honeymoon Suites, suited for those special times when something unique and extraordinary is needed. Each suite is different and wonderful in its design and decor. Jetted double tubs, large screen television, fireplaces and queen size beds add to the warmth and charm of these wonderfully romantic escapes.
In addition to the suites we have eight marvelous bedrooms that will provide an extra measure of relaxation for any business executive, tourist or traveler. All rooms are air conditioned and have private baths.
