The Cedar Log House is a charming Bed and Breakfast located on Cusheon Lake, Salt Spring Island, one of British Columbia's beautiful Southern Gulf Islands. Private baths and decks give the Rose and Ivy rooms the privacy and seclusion of a small, quaint, lakeside retreat.
The Cedar Log House was built from huge cedar logs in 1982, incorporating many heritage furnishings from Victorian manors. There is an oak staircase with a unique newel post and lamp, an upper railing from a Victoria theater, deep claw foot bathtubs, antique dressers, an antique armoire and many interesting light fixtures.
Queen sized beds, fresh flowers, bathrobes, and artwork make the it cozy and comfortable. Adding to the relaxing pace of the Cedar Log House are the beautiful gardens, the waterfront wharf, canoes and sailboats which provide a perfect place for solitude, reading, romance, picnic lunches, fishing or swimming.
Each morning at 8:30 am, we serve a gourmet breakfast in the dining room or on the sun deck. The menu changes daily and you will enjoy fresh fruits, home baked breads, and scrumptious entrees. All foods are served with attention to detail. You will find a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
