Welcome to the Whistle Stop Bed and Breakfast! We invite you to experience western mountain life from our bright, contemporary home. We accommodate up to six adult guests in our guest rooms, all located on different levels of our home for maximum privacy. Designed for casual comfort, our home has great views of the Continental Divide, ski runs and alpenglow. After a delicious, complete, down-home breakfast explore the Winter Park/Fraser River Valley. Later, snuggle by the warmth of the wood stove or enjoy one of our romantic videos. Comfort your tired muscles in our rejuvenating hot tub; have a late afternoon cup of hot tea and our delicious homemade cookies. Walk to your choice of nearby restaurants. In the winter you may choose to go on a dinner sleigh ride or take the gondola to the top of Winter Park mountain to dine in the award winning Sunspot Lodge. Dog sled rides, ice skating and other events make you wish you had more time here. Summer is our favorite time of year as temperatures never exceed 85 degrees and often dip below freezing at night. Horseback rides and wildflower hikes with picnics are wonderful ways to spend your days. Call or e-mail us for information on arrival by daily Amtrak train service. The trip from Denver is phenomenal, taking you through 31 tunnels with the most spectacular scenery you can imagine!
