Rancho Del Llano, Truchas, New Mexico
The village of Truchas is located within a 15,000 acre Spanish land grant establishd in 1754. In the heart of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, the population of the village is approximately 1000 people and the elevation is 8400 feet.
Being a very historic village, there are numerous local crafters which include weaving, wood carving, furniture making, quiltmaking and pottery making at the local pueblos. In addition, Truchas has several galleries which feature local artwork and imported handicrafts.
At Rancho del Llano, you will enjoy kiva fireplaces, viga ceilings, mexican tile floors, private baths, and extensive gardens. Delicious northern New Mexico breakfasts are served in the dining room and weather permitting, on the flower-filled patios. And the sunsets are spectacular!
If you enjoy vacationing with your own horse, we offer a unique equestrian experience. Rancho del Llano will provide a safe, comfortable, clean stall to bed down your horse for the night after a day of trail riding through the various terrain including pine & pinon forests, open meadows, across creeks and streams and atop many scenic overlooks.
We invite you to the peaceful, secluded, country atmosphere of our guest ranch and a memorable experience in the Land of Enchantment.
