Our B&B is a large Victorian family home situated in a leafy conservation area, close to Greenwich, London’s West End and the City.
We have a spacious twin / double room. The beds have extremely comfortable orthopaedic mattresses. Tea making facilities and TV are available in the room. Bathroom / shower facilities are shared but there is a separate WC with large washbasin for the sole use of our guests.
The house has many period features (including an ornate original fireplace in the guest room) and a large garden which you are welcome to use. The garden became well known in the sixties when it won numerous competitions and the Queen Mother came for afternoon tea to see for herself.
Brockley is a unique location close to the centre of London with its many sights (3 minutes walk to train station, then 10 minutes to the City or 20 to the West End). It is very close to Greenwich with its Millenium Dome and other attractions. Last not least, it is easy to escape the city via convenient motorway links. The Kent countryside, picturesque Canterbury with its famous cathedral and the South Coast with its seaside resorts are all within easy reach and perfect for daytrips.
