Casa Escondida, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Casa Escondida, the Hidden House, nestled on six acres of secluded land is an intimate and serene inn built in the Spanish Colonial adobe style, typical of northern New Mexico. It is a place to come to find your inspiration. The beautiful expansive views, clear light and tranquility will encourage you to take long walks, meditate, read, paint or write.
The rooms are tastefully decorated in the American Arts and Crafts style, intimate and comfortable. Windows frame viesw of fields, trees, open sky and the spectacular hills beyond.
A full breakfast awaits you upon rising, served on the enclosed patio and terrace. Fireplaces fill the inn with warmth and fragrance of pinon wood. A large hot tub is tucked into a stand of trees near the casa.
Casa Escondida is close by the "high roads" to Taos, one of the most magnificent drives you will experience in all of New Mexico. The drive will lead you to the historic northern New Mexico village of Chimayo and its miraculous Santuario church, its eighth generation weavers Ortega and Trujillo, and the reknowned Rancho de Chimayo restaurant.
