The charm of Wayman's Corner begins with the front porches. The upstairs porch, complete with planters full of summer flowers, and the downstairs porch, with it's hanging baskets, are great places to relax with a book or your daydreams! The upstairs back porch is enclosed to provide comfort even on chilly days. The house faces a quiet residential street and the decor includes feather painting, ragg painting, and antiques.
The downstair bedroom has an antique bed with a high headboard, as well as a vanity with an unusually high mirror.
The second floor has two large rooms, both with Victorian style queen beds. A sitting area with day-bed or hide-a-bed sofa also provide additional sleeping accommodations.
The Rooftop Retreat takes you away from the stress of daily life. Window seats and a jacuzzi add to the ambiance of this secluded room.
All rooms have private baths, a/c, telephones and ceiling fans. Breakfast features made-from-scratch baked goods. The cookie jar is always stocked, brewed iced tea is ready and The Innkeeper lives next door!
