Tucker Hill Inn, Middlebury, Connecticut
Middlebury Connecticut Bed and Breakfast near Waterbury
A gracious New England Colonial home, Tucker Hill Inn is situated on lovely grounds and lightly shaded by ancient oaks and maples. The setting suggests rural life, yet the location is convenient to downtown business and shopping.
Originally opened as a Tea Room in 1923, the Inn was a busy trolley stop on the line from Waterbury. Some time later, it became Lift the Latch Inn and was operated as a restaurant and catering business for 40 years. This was a favorite place for brides, well over 900 weddings have taken place here!
Our rooms are all spacious and inviting. Each bedroom is bright and cheerful, perfect place to relax in privacy. If you are feeling sociable, please feel free to join us in our comfortable downstairs living room or upstairs in our private sitting room. You are also invited to enjoy our extensive library of books, video movies and compact discs.
A full breakfast is served in our formal dining room.
Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, we look forward to your stay with us and we welcome your company.
