We would like to invite you to come and enjoy our romantic seaside inn, where you can relax on our large wraparound porch, take a stroll on the beach, or just dip your feet in the Atlantic Ocean only 200 yards away.
The Cypress House Bed and Breakfast was built in the 1940's as a private Outer Banks hunting and fishing lodge. The interior is noted for its soft cypress tongue-and-groove paneled walls and ceilings.
Our six guest rooms, all with private shower baths and queen size beds, provide a quiet and restful retreat for your vacation. All rooms have central air conditioning, ceiling fans, and color cable T.V.
Awake each morning to the smell of fresh brewed coffee along with home baked muffins and breads. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. Each afternoon refreshments are also provided.
Enjoy our common room, with fireplace, for reading, card playing, or just good conversation.
Whether you wish to sun or swim -- golf or fish -- sightsee or shop -- study nature or history -- we will be happy to help guide you in the right direction. You can be as busy as you like or as laid back as you like.
