Built in 1890 as the summer home of wealthy bachelor, lumberman Howard Conkling. The home was built for entertaining. The "great room" with its 12' beamed ceilings, original chestnut key hole staircase and wainscoting has 5 doors which lead out to the wrap around porch and grounds.
The Inn now boasts 3 buildings on 10 wooded acres surrounded by towering white pine trees.A full, memorable breakfast and dinner are served in a spacious sunporch dining room with a mountain view.Crystal clear Lake Luzerne and the Hudson River are both a block away.
