Creekside Inn, Paradise, Pennsylvania
This 18th-century Georgian lime stone home was built in 1781 by David Witmer, a personal friend of George Washington and a member of one of the first families to settle in the area. Two stone tablets in the wall of the house read "Built by David & Esther Witmer" and "In the year of our lord 1781." David purchased this land from Jacob Fierre which was part of the tract granted to Mary Fierre by William Penn.
The Inn is centrally located in the hart of Lancaster County's Amish area, peacefully situated on 2 acres along the Pequea Creek. With 6 guest rooms, 2 with original working fireplaces, we offer our guests a romantic, comfortable place to relax and explore the many attractions that Lancaster county has to offer.
Listen to the sound of horse and buggy passing by as you retire from a busy day of shopping, biking and exploring the "Amish Country".
Our Inn offers relaxing guest quarters decorated with antiques and Amish quilts, as well as a living room with stone fireplace and two dining rooms where we serve a full country breakfast each morning that includes local "PA DUTCH" and home goodies.
