Jackson Fork Inn, Huntsville, Utah
A long time ago, Jackson Fork Inn was a modern dairy barn. At the time it was built, it was considered the most up to date barn in the area, complete with indoor plumbing. At full occupancy the barn could house one hundred dairy cows.
The name "Jackson Fork" comes from a large hay fork that was used to load hay into the loft area of the barn, which is where the rooms are located today. An original fork is on display hanging from the outside of the barn as it would have many years ago.
The Inn is located within the scenic Ogden Valley Recreation area.
The Inn consists of eight comfortable rooms. Four have Jacuzzi tubs that accommodate two adults. The rooms are two story with queen size beds located in a loft, assessable from a spiral staircase. All rooms have a private bath. In the morning a complimentary self-serve continental breakfast is provided.
The Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the barn and serves delicious items such as steaks, fish and chicken dishes.
