Reagan'S Queen Anne Bed And Breakfast, Hannibal, Missouri
Hannibal Missouri Bed and Breakfast near Mark Twain Boyhood Home
More than 100 years ago, Wilson B Pettibone, a wealthy lumber baron and Hannibal's greatest philanthropist, built this victorian jewel for his wife Laura. Mr Pettibone felt it fitting to use many of his fine woods to grace the foyer, parlors, dining room, library, and staircase. The woodwork is ornate and original as are the Rookwood fireplace tiles. Original stained glass windows and gas/electric light fixtures have been retained as well. The Reagan's have decorated with many antiques, period furnishings and heirlooms, to allow guests the opportunity to experience a bit of the Victorian era. Judy & Norm invite you to share their Queen Anne, and enjoy "America's Home Town", Hannibal. Come sit a while on the wrap around veranda where you might catch a glimpse of a fleeting jewel as the resident hummingbirds dance at Judy's feeders. Or just relax in a rocking chair and experience the sights and sounds of a sleepy little Mississippi River town, much like Samuel Clemens did more than 150 years ago.
