Finca Al-Manzil is an extensive farm on the slopes of the stunning Sierra de Montanchez in the Extremadura province of Spain.A beautiful place where the rythm of life is still in tune with the seasons of nature. We have converted an old cortijo into comfortable accommodation, here you can relax in peaceful surroundings while enjoying the comfort of an old Spanish cortijo, spacious terraces, spring-fed pool and delicious food and wine.
We have several activities, horse riding in the sierra, walking with donkeys, cycling, art and ceramic courses, tai chi and chinese massage are available.
Montanchez is right in the middle of three world heritage cities, Caceres, Trujillo and Merida, also the monastery of Guadalupe is not far. These town represent civilization from Roman times, through the Moorish invasion, medieval and renaissance periods, a fabulous collection of historical palaces, monasteries and churches. Today they are thriving places full of lively cultural life, seasonal fiestas and good bars and restaurants.
