The Hacienda Jalisco is a 180 year old hacienda, located high in the Sierra Madre Mountains above Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Fully restored, nestled among pine forest. Upstairs rooms have fireplaces and full baths. Wrap around balcony provides gorgeous and various views. No electricity. At night the oil lamps are lit, scattered throughout the Hacienda. With all of the produce grown right on the property, the meals are a culinary delight with a chef on the premises. Includes full breakfast and dinner. An easy walk to the small pueblo of San Sebastian, once a bustling mining town but now a quiet, peaceful village of 500 people who grow coffee and maguay for tequila. A perfect getaway for couples as well as art and nature groups.
