Built in 1872, this Historic ten room Inn and Restaurant was Lanesboro's first Inn. It is located on the South Fork of the Root River in a beautiful valley and across the street from the Root River Bike Trail. Entering our warm and inviting lobby will immediately make you feel at home. Each room is unique and has a modern private bath, and air conditioning. Rooms are dressed in country-style, all with fireplaces. Our Restaurant in currently closed for lunch and dinner due to renovations. Watch for our grand re-opening soon.
Your room includes a hearty country breakfast freshly prepared for you. Some of our offerings: Fresh baked muffins and breads daily. Fresh fruits in season, our very own Crustless Quiche made with a variety of mouth-watering ingredients, Quiche Lorraine, Fritattas, succulent Omelets, Sauteed Mushrooms in Sherry/Butter sauce or Stuffed Mushrooms, Home Fries, Dutch Apple Pancake, Ginger's famous 'Kokoke Lani' French Toast topped with fresh seasonal fruits, fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes with real Maple Syrup, and more. Sides of bacon, ham or sausage will accompany some dishes.
