Casa da Ponte de S. Pedro is a typical granite stone country house from the province of Minho, in the North of Portugal and near the cities of Braga and Guimarães (World Heritage).
The name of the cottage derives from the medieval one-arched stone bridge over the Turio rivulet, near the house. From the bridge, the tourist can admire the scenery of the Turio woods and Cabreira Mountain.
In the surrounding area, the tourist can also enjoy the sights and activities at the Ermal Dam, a magnificient mountain lake, where the preservation of the environment is a matter of pride. The artificial lake itself, surrounded by dense woods, provides the visitor with an excellent spot for fishing, canoeing and sailing, or simply relaxing on its clean, wonderful shores and beach.
Casa da Ponte de S. Pedro offers an intimate contact with nature, fully integrated in the Cabreira Mountain, where open air activities such as mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking or off-road circuits are available across forest tracks, roads and paths.
Casa da Ponte de S. Pedro offers 2 double rooms, 2 twin-bed rooms, 1 three-bed room, 3 fully equipped sitting rooms with TV, stereo and fireplaces, kitchen, central heating, a small library, table games, mountain bikes, children's park, barbecue, small leisure room outside and kayaks.
