Our Casa Rural El Recuerdo is only 11kms from the beautiful medieval town of Trujillo. Dating back almost two hundred years, it is a fine house typical of rural Extremadura, set at the edge of a little village, surrounded by old olive groves. Recently renovated, it maintains its thick stone walls, beautiful tiled floors and old timber.
From here you can visit Trujillo, Cáceres, Guadalupe and Mérida, and enjoy the scenery and wildlife of the Monfragüe National Park, the plains of Trujillo and the Villuercas mountains. Furthermore, you can explore on foot the lanes and tracks of the Sierra de los Lagares, on the slopes of which we are situated. Staying with us, you will find a peaceful and homely environment in which to base your holidays.
