Oregon Bed and BreakfastUnited States Bed and Breakfast
Whether your choice of bed and breakfast is an urban environment or your preference is that of a historic neighborhood, Portland, Oregon has
perfect places for your lodging in both the categories. Though there are numerous lodgings with their unique attractions, the following 3
B&Bs are popular. 1. Enchanted Garden Suite 2. A Painted Lady Inn 3. Rose Cottage B & B.
Out of the above, I would like to expand and explain about the Enchanted Garden Suite. True to its name, it is indeed an enchantment in itself.
This location is quiet and in a private residential neighborhood of West Portland and close to the very famous Forest Park. The entry is through
a stone courtyard that sports a bubbling water fall and a serene pond which houses three types of rainbow colored fish. There are four rooms in
one lodging unit. First, there is an airy living room from where you could view the waterfall, next is the bedroom with its absorbing, queen-sized
bed with fresh, aromatic linens, then the kitchen and dining area; it has got everything that you can name. Finally, the bedroom is attached with
a private bathroom including a built-in hair dryer and a towel warmer. However, the main attraction of this heart rendering hotel is the
bewitching gardens which have a character of their own. You would love to walk through these gardens and sit in one of those benches with your
favorite book. Do not be surprised if you discover the poet within you in those bewitching gardens. There is also a vegetable garden which
provides herbs and vegetables for the breakfasts served to their guests.
Portland is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it has a lot of nicknames to its credit. It boasts some of the best rose gardens in
the world and hence is called the "Rose City." In addition it is called “Bridgetown” because of all the rivers over the Columbia and Willamette Rivers.
Many of the locals call this great city "Beertown" because of the many brew pubs and breweries. Enjoy your stay in Portland's bed and breakfasts!
