This historic home, built for Chief Justice Marvin Rosenberry in 1908, features beautiful stained glass windows, wide halls, oak stairway, and sweeping front porch. Each room has a private bath, refrigerator, coffee maker, CD stereo; some have wood burning fireplaces and/or cable TV. Free WIFI is available in every room.
Breakfast is both memorable and hearty, and served in our lovely dining room. Several of our entrees originated in our own kitchens.
In addition, we offer the Devoe House. Built in 1868 by millwright William Devoe, this house is the oldest on its original site in Wausau. Each suite is complete with private bath, queen-sized bed, king-sized double whirlpool, wood burning fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, VCR, CD stereo, and air conditioning.
The Rosenberry Inn is within walking distance of downtown shopping and dining. The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, atop Franklin Street hill, houses a respected wildlife art collection and ever changing gallery shows. Enjoy hiking at Rib Mountain State Park, downhill skiing at Granite Peak or cross country skiing at Nine Mile Recreation Area.
