Candlewick Inn, Williamsburg, Virginia
Situated behind a white picket fence, this two story colonial-style home is close to the historic area, across the street from the William and Mary College. In old Virginia tradition, a candle is lit at night to welcome guests. The inn is decorated with 18th cenury antiques and reproductions, and includes features such as indoor shutters, beamed ceilings, old latch doors, and chair rails. Guest rooms offer beautifully draped canopy beds with comfortable mattresses and antique quilts, private baths and televisions. A wonderful counrty breakfast is served each morning in our "keeping" room.
