A unique historical bed and breakfast located 54 miles west of Chicago that guests refer to as a wonderful get-away retreat.

Upon entering this Italianate country cottage you will discover for yourself why the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency choose to feature The Homestead in it's 2007 calendar. As you walk from room to room you will notice the exquisite attention to detail that has been taken in the renovation; that is because the house also serves as a show house for the owner's interior decorating firm. The Homestead is proud to have been shown in several national magazines.
Located on the two-acre landscaped grounds is a brick labyrinth, a hedge maze, and a consignment sculpture gallery.
