You are cordially invited to experience Quiet Cottage.
This log cottage was built in the early 1900s and was used as a summer home until 1982. In 1978 Quiet Cottage was renovated - moving the kitchen and adding a bath. Then in 1982 it was transformed for permanent residency by adding a new kitchen, greenhouse, bath and adjusting bedrooms.
During your stay you may take time to smell the flowers, walk among the English gardens filled with begonias, calla lily, day lilies, phlox, delphiniums, lupines and many other species. Listen to the sounds of the birds and watch the hummingbirds feed at the feeders around the cottage. Relax on the rock shelf as Lake Michigan laps at your feet. On the lake side of the cottage you'll find your suite has French doors that exit onto a deck running the length of the cottage.
Your hostess, Debby Sween, has lived in "Quiet Cottage" since 1982. The log cabin grew in size as Debby's fondness grew for her peaceful retreat in Door County. She hopes her guests will enjoy the serenity of her unique home.
