Black Lantern Inn, Montgomery, Vermont

Restored stagecoach stop located in Northern Vermont near the Canadian border. Inn features 10 rooms with private baths and six suites with fireplaces and whirlpools tubs. The inn is listed on the National Historic Register. Guests dine in a candlelit diningroom where dinners are individually prepared with the freshest of ingredients. The Black Lantern is known in the area for its great meals and cozy ambiance. Montgomery is ideal for guests who want to bike on uncrowded roads or hike the Long Trail. In winter, skiers and snowmobilers are freguent guest of the inn. Rita and Allan have been the innkeepers since 1977.
